Available October - March of each year, this 1.5 hour private surf lesson will be sure to get your heart rate up! This lesson is designed to be customized to your specific skill set and can be taught anywhere within the Virginia Beach, Oceanfront. Choose to take your lesson in front of your hotel, home, or request for the instructors recommendation based off the current conditions.
In the winter we experience more texturized surf, you will want to be flexible with dates/times in order to get out during ideal conditions for learning. We recommend taking a look at the surf forecast prior to booking, or give us a call and we will be happy to help you.
The water temperature in Virginia Beach typically drops to 45-55 degrees Fahrenheit during winter months. A 4/3 to 5/4 mm wetsuit, boots, and gloves are recommended to surf and are provided for FREE for the duration of your lesson. (Winter wetsuit rentals are only available in adult sizes)
