About This Adventure

Embark on the Platinum Tour for an unforgettable backcountry snowmobiling adventure! This premium experience takes you deep into pristine terrain, where expert guides share riding tips and unveil hidden zones. Enjoy a gourmet deli lunch to recharge, ensuring you have the energy to conquer the best powder around.

All operators of snowmobiles MUST have a valid drivers license. In order to rent a snowmobile you must be 19 years or older.

About

The Platinum Tour is our premium all inclusive backcountry experience. This exclusive tour will take you deep into the heart of backcountry on an adventure and includes a gourmet lunch. This is different from the Mountain Tour ,as it takes you deep into the backcountry to find the best powder and new riding zones. It is suitable for all riding levels.

Our guides will show you new zones as well as riding tips and tricks to have you riding better than the rest! We'll help you to push your limits with terrain and skill sets. We'll help you develop technique, find new zones and the best snow conditions.

Don’t worry we will stop to feed you a fantastic deli lunch so you will have the energy to perform. Experience the ultimate trip today!

Types of Snowmobiles

Polaris 850 RMK / KHAOS Hands down the lightest snowmobile in the industry, so what does this mean for you? Easy to ride! If you’re looking to take your riding to the next level this could be the sled to take you there. We have both RMK (163) and KHAOS (155) models for you to choose from depending on the track length you want.

SkiDoo Summit 850 Quite simply, the agile, powerful and effortless Ski-Doo Summit is the beginning of a new era in mountain riding. A mountain sled has never been so responsive and agile, thanks to the combination of REV Gen5 platform and Rotax 850 E-TEC engine.

Polaris Voyageur 650cc Perfect for beginners or family rides, this economical rental is capable of accessing big mountain terrain with comfort and reliability.


What Can You Expect

  • Snowmobile Trail Tours from GSR are different from most!
  • We focus on smaller groups ensuring you get instruction, time, and the experience you are looking for.
  • This could be completely private for your group or if you are looking to join a group we can help accommodate you.
  • Your day can be as simple as a basic short ride to a scenic view, or longer trail ride type adventure.

Day Itinerary

  • Meet at GSR shop at 8:30 to sign waivers and fill out the required paperwork.
  • Get fitted for riding gear if needed (jacket, pants, helmet, goggles, gloves, boots etc.)
  • Drive personal vehicles to the predetermined trailhead.
  • Pre-ride speeches, safety protocols, weather analysis, avalanche forecast
  • Trail ride to desired riding location.
  • The guide will designate specific riding areas and set you free!
  • As the guide’s confidence grows in your ability and awareness, the options for exploration expand!!
  • Depending on weather most days we leave the riding area by 3:30 and head back to the parking lots by 4:00pm.
  • Guests can either return their riding gear to the guide in the parking lot, or bring it back to the GSR shop to get changed.

What Do You Need

  • You need to wear warm clothes (ski clothing is great), long underwear, and a hat (for when we stop)
  • Lunch is included but please feel free to bring your own snacks, water, and lunch
  • Any medical requirements, medications, puffers, epi-pens, etc - PLEASE inform GSR of any medical conditions and medications prior to departure

What to Know

The vehicle shall not be operated:

  • By anyone not named in the agreement, including passengers, anyone under 19 years old, and anyone without a valid unrestricted drivers license
  • By anyone whose riding ability is impaired by alcohol, drugs, fatigue, medication, jet lag
  • In any speed or racing contest, closed areas, failing to obey signs or the law
  • In any violation of any law
  • To carry explosives or flammable materials
  • Wearing ski boots is not recommended & any damage is the renter's responsibility

Damage Insurance

Optional Insurance: is available per day, per unit, which reduces the deductible from full replacement value of the rental equipment, to a maximum of CA$3,500/$5,000 per day per incident on the renter's equipment only. The insurance applies only to the rental equipment and no other riders or their equipment. The renter is still responsible for recovery & all down days due to damages on top of the deductible. Intentional damages, fire, vandalism & theft are not covered. By accepting you agree to all terms and conditions. This is NOT liability insurance and does not cover damage to other riders or their equipment.
