Marvel at the stunning Giessbach waterfalls, explore the charming village of Brienz, and wander through the enchanting Lauterbrunnen valley, all guided by a local expert. Experience the magic of Switzerland off the beaten path.

We leave Interlaken in the morning. After a short drive we reach Iseltwald. A traditional small village where the world seems to stand still at the picturesque lake of Brienz. We stroll around and take pictures of the great view and enjoy Switzerland off the beaten path.

Our second stop are the famous Giessbach waterfalls above the lake of Brienz. Get impressed by the 14 waterfalls, go for a walk “under the waterfall” (little water in winter), enjoy a walk in the park or marvel at the historic Grandhotel with its fabulous terrace with great views over the waterfalls and the lake.

Our next stop is Brienz is a charming, cute village and invites you to stay.

We’ll stroll around the small streets, admire traditional chalet houses, walk along the wonderful lake promenade and get some typical cow souvenirs from the local wood manufacturer (Closed in winter on Sundays).

In the afternoon, after a short drive, we will reach the picturesque Lauterbrunnen – the valley of the majestic cliffs and 72 waterfalls. This picturesque valley was inspiration for Tolkiens’ “Lord of the Rings”. We stroll around the village, feel the magical ambiance and glance at the frozen Staubbach waterfall. From April to October the incredible Trümmelbachfalls can be explored as well.

On our way back we visit the highlights of Interlaken of the beaten path before returning to buzzling tourist town Interlaken where we’ll visit the best of Interlaken and the old town.
