About This Adventure

Embark on an unforgettable snowmobiling adventure through breathtaking backcountry trails! Perfect for all skill levels, this tour offers stunning mountain views, a cozy cabin break, and the chance to ride powerful snowmobiles. Enjoy personalized instruction in small groups, making every moment memorable as you explore the winter wonderland.

All operators of snowmobiles MUST have a valid drivers license. In order to rent a snowmobile you must be 19 years or older.

About

Whether you are new to snowmobiling or looking for a scenic adventure, this fun tour will give you a sneak peak into the beautiful backcountry. We will follow the trail through the pines and arrive at a quaint cabin to warm up before heading out into the stunning mountain meadows for a play! Don't stress, we will definitely be stopping to enjoy the views!

Types of Snowmobiles

Polaris Voyageur 650cc Perfect for beginners or family rides, this economical rental is capable of accessing big mountain terrain with comfort and reliability. With a 2-up seat you can bring a friend along for the journey!

850cc Snowmobile Want to upgrade to a more powerful machine. We have brand new Polaris and Skidoo 850's available for a $50 upgrade. Minimum 2 sleds required


What Can You Expect

  • Snowmobile Trail Tours from GSR are different from most! Our backcountry trail tour has amazing views and fresh powder.
  • We focus on smaller groups ensuring you get instruction, time, and the experience you are looking for.
  • This could be completely private for your group or if you are looking to join a group we can help accommodate you.
  • Your day can be as simple as a basic short ride to a scenic view, or longer trail ride type adventure.

Day Itinerary

  • Meet at GSR at 10:00 am MST
  • Sign waivers
  • Drive personal vehicles to the trail head (10-25 minutes)
  • GSR will give pre-ride speeches and safety chat.
  • You ride your rental snowmobile or sit as a passenger.
  • Please bring lunch, snacks & drinks (no alcohol)
  • We ride as a group.
  • Return to the parking area.
  • You can either give the GSR guide your rental gear or head back to the shop to get changed.

What Do You Need

  • You need to wear warm clothes (ski clothing is great), long underwear, and a hat (for when we stop)
  • Please bring your own snacks, water, and lunch unless you pre-order lunch with us.
  • Any medical requirements, medications, puffers, epi-pens, etc - PLEASE inform GSR of any medical conditions and medications prior to departure

What to Know

The vehicle shall not be operated:

  • By anyone not named in the agreement, including passengers, anyone under 19 years old, and anyone without a valid unrestricted drivers license
  • By anyone whose riding ability is impaired by alcohol, drugs, fatigue, medication, jet lag
  • In any speed or racing contest, closed areas, failing to obey signs or the law
  • In any violation of any law
  • To carry explosives or flammable materials
  • Wearing ski boots is not recommended & any damage is the renter's responsibility

Damage Insurance

Optional Insurance: is available per day, per unit, which reduces the deductible from full replacement value of the rental equipment, to a maximum of CA$3,500/$5,000 per day per incident on the renter's equipment only. The insurance applies only to the rental equipment and no other riders or their equipment. The renter is still responsible for recovery & all down days due to damages on top of the deductible. Intentional damages, fire, vandalism & theft are not covered. By accepting you agree to all terms and conditions. This is NOT liability insurance and does not cover damage to other riders or their equipment.
