If you’re looking for a neighborhood with the most Christmas spirit, look no further than the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn. The lighted homes are so popular that more than 100,000 people flock there every holiday season to see the decorations – some tasteful, some, well, over the top. Join Martz Bus Dec. 9-10 for this overnight tour that includes a 2 ½-hour bus tour through the neighborhoods of Dyker Heights, Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst. The tour includes an overnight stay in Secaucus followed by Christmas shopping at the American Dream Mall.

For multi-day tours, a non-refundable, 10 percent deposit is required at the time of booking. Half of the cost of the trip must be made by Oct. 9, 60 days before the departure. The trip must be paid in full by Nov. 9, 30 days before the tour departs.

There is no charge to park your car at the Wyoming Valley Mall, Wilkes-Barre Township, or the Green Ridge Plaza, Scranton. Pickup at the Wyoming Valley Mall is in the area of the Ken Pollock Service Center, site of the former Sears service center. Passengers boarding at Green Ridge Plaza should park at the end of the shopping center near Planet Fitness but as far from the door as possible. A $5 daily parking fee is charge at Delaware Water Gap.
Day 1: Tuesday, Dec. 9 2-4:30 p.m. – On your own in New York City with dropoff on 8th Avenue between 51st & 52nd streets 4:45 p.m. – Board bus at 8th Avenue between 51st & 52nd streets to begin tour 5:30-8 p.m. – Dyker Heights Christmas Lights Tour through the neighborhoods of Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and Bensonhurst 8:30 p.m. – Check in to Hilton Garden Inn Secaucus Day 2: Wednesday, Dec. 10 Breakfast at the hotel (included) 11 a.m.-3 p.m. – Time on your own at American Dream Mall 3:15 p.m. -- Depart for home All tour itineraries are subject to change. Christmas Lights Tour of Dyker Heights is a 2 ½-hour tour of the extravagant holiday light displays in the neighborhoods of The most extravagant Christmas light displays in the country are located in the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn, aka “Dyker Lights.” More than 100,000 people flock to this area every year to see the decorations. American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, N.J., is an entertainment and retail center. It includes attractions such as an indoor theme park, water park and ski slope. Stores range from discount to high-end, providing something for everyone.
Breakfast is included at the hotel on Day 2. You are on your own for lunch/dinner in New York City before boarding the bus for the lights tour. It is suggested that you make dinner reservations beforehand. Restaurants near the theater district. You are on your own to dine with a variety of eateries to choose from, serving everything from steaks to salads, pizza to dessert, and everything in between.
If you require special assistance getting on or off the bus, or if you are bringing a wheelchair or scooter, please make note of it in the Comments section when making your reservation. A portion of the Christmas lights tour will include walking through the Brooklyn neighborhoods.

If it becomes necessary for Martz Bus to cancel a tour, the full price will be refunded. You have the option of receiving a refund in the form of a gift certificate that may be redeemed for a future Martz Tour.
