About:

Join us this summer for an unforgettable day of adventure. Experience the best of summer in Alaska with a visit to an Iditarod dog sled kennel and go for a ride with these over-the-top friendly sled dogs. You'll be amazed at the power these dogs have as you glide through the hills and woods that these dogs run on year-round. You'll get to meet the whole team, learn how we train and work with these remarkable dogs, and most importantly get to play with them yourself.

The adventure isn't over, though. After we finish with the sled dog tour, we will enjoy lunch and then switch gears as we head up to Hatcher Pass for an ATV Adventure. You get to drive your ATV through rugged mountain landscapes. With Alaska on display all around, the view from the top of the pass is amazing. Along the way we'll stop for pictures and maybe a little berry picking (in season).

If you have never been on a UTV, don't worry. Our guides will work with you to build your skills and confidence. This trip is suitable for all ability levels and will be the best part of your vacation!

Notes:

  • If anyone in your party is uncomfortable around dogs let us know so we can make it a successful experience.

  • Our UTVs (Side by Sides) do not require prior experience! But you must have prior ATV riding experience to rent one of our single-rider ATVs. Riding an ATV requires coordinated physical input and you need to use your body to be actively involved with the steering and driving of the ATV for proper operation. Please also note that the maximum amount of weight the single-rider ATV can accommodate is 300 pounds.
