Wingehaven offers a distinctive private outdoor experience on Vashon Island, Washington, that appeals especially to those seeking quiet nature escapes with beautiful views and unique local character. Located on the scenic shores overlooking Puget Sound, this spot invites visitors to hike down a half-mile trail with about 500 feet of elevation loss to reach a tranquil, grassy picnic area and a terraced pond. This location is especially popular among dog owners who appreciate the off-leash allowance in a safe environment, though caution is advised due to private boundaries.
