Short 2–3 hour lessons teaching wind theory, kite control, hydrofoil basics, and guided surf trips.
RAD Kiteboarding is a watersports school and guide service based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, offering focused lessons and guided sessions in wing foiling, kitesurfing, and surfing. Operating from 1357 Ashford Ave Suite 2-381, San Juan, 00907, the company provides short-format lessons—2-hour wing foiling, 2-hour and 3-hour kitesurfing sessions—and 2-hour guided surfing trips to local breaks. Instructors teach wind theory, gear setup, kite control, bodydrags, waterstarts, upwind riding, hydrofoil handling, and self-rescue techniques where included in the curriculum. Lessons emphasize safety, situational awareness, and practical progression from shore drills to on-water skills.
Guided surfing trips use a jetski or local transport to reach less-crowded surf spots; surfboards are provided for those sessions. Equipment instruction for kitesurfing and wing foiling covers flying the wing, rigging, and basic foil handling to help students develop efficient and safe habits. The 3-hour kitesurfing lesson includes additional time for safety procedures and self-rescue practice.
RAD Kiteboarding caters to learners seeking concise, skills-focused instruction and recreational adventurers looking for guided wave access. Booking information and schedules are available through the business contact channels. The school's programming and location in San Juan make it a practical option for visitors and residents seeking organized, time-efficient watersports lessons and guided surf outings. Lesson formats suit focused practice or extended safety training depending on the session chosen. Sessions combine classroom explanation with practical on-water drills. Guided trips include transport by jetski or local vehicle to surf breaks when needed. The business lists 1357 Ashford Ave Suite 2-381 as contact address.
