What to expect
Meet your guide at 9:30 am at The Riviera Cultural Center. It is an easy 15-minute walk from the cruise ship dock. (directions on your voucher)
Before leaving to Valle de Guadalupe, you will have a mini tour at the Riviera Cultural Center, the most important historic building in Ensenada and where the famous “margarita” cocktail was invented.
At 10:00 am you will be leaving Ensenada towards Valle de Guadalupe.
Our first stop is Clos de Tres Cantos winery, a sustainable boutique winery with great wines and beautiful unique architecture designed by the renamed Mexican Arch. Alejandro D’Acosta. There you will taste 4 wines that are included with the tour. You will have enough time to taste your wines and walk around the vineyard, the perfect place to take many pictures. (from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm)
At 12:00 we will move to your second stop, Bodega Sol y Barro. It is a very cozy boutique winery that owner Aimee Deponds from Switzerland built with her own hands, and where you will be hard-pressed to find grape varietals like Graciano or Malvasía. This is a hidden gem in the Valle de Guadalupe. You will taste 4 wines, also included, and if you are lucky, you will be able to meet the owner/winemaker and have a nice conversation with him. (from 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm) .
At 1:30 pm we will be heading back to Ensenada.
At 2:00 pm, we will stop at Transpeninsular Brewery, a local brewery recognized as one of the strongest in the north of Mexico. There you will enjoy an ice-cold glass of beer from your preference (choose between their varities of Largers, Ales, or Ipas), with a delicious and very fresh traditional dish from Ensenada of your choice: ceviche, fish tacos, shirmp tacos, or beef (carnitas) tacos. If you are vegan, vegetarian, or allergic to fish, don’t worry, we have other options for you. A (1) plate of food and a (1) glass of beer are included in the price
From there we will be heading to the cruise ship dock at 3:00 pm.
