About

A driver will collect you at your hotel and you will start a journey through some beautiful andalusian countryside that will last around an hour and a half. The landscape will be dotted with typical white washed villages and plenty of olive, avocado and almond trees.

You will arrive at your first winery, one of the most fascinating bodegas in Ronda, a town where winemaking has been known since Roman times and it still is a big tradition in the area. This is an organic winery that is trying to revive the indigenous grapes from Ronda, the varieties that were once wiped out by the Filoxera plague in the 19th century.

The tour will begin with a walk through the vineyards where your guide will explain the different growing conditions of the vine trying to adapt to a variety of altitudes and soil conditions. You will also learn about the hard task of recuperating the lost grape varieties that once thrived in the area.

Visitors will walk through the barrel room and learn abour their unique winemaking process. Your tour of the winery will finish with a delicious wine tasting accompanied by a selection of local tapas.

After a break, a short drive will lead you to your second winery visit. You will arrive at a family run winery where they take real pride on their artisanal and organic winemaking process, offering some fantastic crafted wines that are only possible to make thanks to the unique conditions of this wonderful place. Your guide will explain about their winemaking philosophy, following the entire process, form the vine to the bottle, and you will soon appreciate the characteristics and peculiarities of their fabulous wines thanks to the wine tasting at the end of your visit.

The last part of this day trip will take you to the town of Ronda where your guide will show you the highlights of this fantastic city.
