There, you’ll experience Crete’s nature first-hand, walking along rows of olive trees and tasting award-winning wines, such as the local varieties of ‘Vidiano’, ‘Muscat' or 'Spinas’, and international varieties like ‘Grenache Rouge’, ‘Syrah’ and ‘Mouverde’. You’ll even get to pair your wine with an assortment of Cretan goods, including fresh vegetables, cold-cuts, and local cheese!

Following the visit to the winery, you will marvel at the beautiful neighborhoods of the island, heading towards traditional Cretan villages. Your wanderings will lead you to the museum of the oldest olive tree in the world, which is estimated to be around 3000 years old!

Continue the tour with a visit to an alluring winery in the region of Kissamos, where you’ll taste a unique white wine blend made with the combination of ‘Vilana’, ‘Vidiano’, ‘Assyrtiko’ and other delectable wines, always paired with Greek snacks.

Next, visit a local, family-run olive oil factory to learn about the extra virgin olive oil production; a craft the Greeks have perfected over countless years of practice.
