About This Adventure

On this tour, your guide will bring you to the best spots for viewing wildlife and teach you about the unique history and geology of the park. After your tour, we will bring you to our Whitewater Rafting partners where you will suit up for the second adventure of the day!

Schedule

Approximately 8-10 Hours, dependent on river conditions and road traffic. This tour is offered from May to mid-September. Times are subject to change with river flow and schedule changes

About

Once you finish a half-day in the park viewing wildlife from the car, get some fresh air on the Snake River by taking an adventurous 8-mile whitewater float down the Snake river canyon. This trip includes lunch after your wildlife tour, before you set out on the raft!

What's Included

  • Picnic lunch provided.
  • HD binoculars, spotting scopes, snacks and drinks.

What to Wear/Bring

  • Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. It is a good idea to bring a jacket, hat, sunscreen and camera.
  • Entry to the National Parks is not included in the tour. Please bring your National Park Pass with you. If you do not have one, our guides will facilitate the purchase of the correct pass(es) for you.

Things to Know

  • We request that you meet us at the Jackson Hole Whitewater office, located at 945 W. Broadway Ave. in Jackson. We are happy to pick you up at your lodging upon request, but Jackson Hole Whitewater will not provide you with transportation back to your lodging. Ubers are available in Jackson.
  • Due to river flow conditions, whitewater schedule is subject to change. Public tours may have up to 2 hours between wildlife tour and whitewater tour. We provide lunch, but this may be a good time to stretch your legs and walk about town. Whitewater office is one mile from the town square in downtown Jackson. Ubers are available.
