About This Adventure

Embark on an unforgettable 3-4 hour adventure from Courtmacsherry Harbour, a protected area teeming with marine life. Witness majestic fin and humpback whales, playful dolphins, and basking sharks against breathtaking coastal scenery. This prime location offers one of the best chances to encounter these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Observe fin whales, humpback whales, minke whales common dolphins, basking sharks, harbour porpoise, sunfish and other marine wildlife along with stunning scenery.

When we leave Courtmacsherry harbour, which is a designated Special Area of Conservation (SAC) for birds habitat, we venture either West to the Seven Heads or East towards the Old Head of Kinsale depending on the most recent sightings.

According to data from the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG), this area is one of the best areas on the Irish coast to encounter whales and dolphins.

What to wear

Remember we will be out on the open water so bring a hat, a waterproof / windproof jacket and suitable footwear.

Sun-cream, bottle of water and don't forget your camera!

We do not permit pets on board apart from trained assistance dogs.
