Embark on a private wildlife adventure in the breathtaking Morvern & Ardnamurchan, where you can tailor your experience to focus on the stunning array of species, from otters to golden eagles. Enjoy expert guidance in fieldcraft and photography while exploring this wild, inaccessible peninsula, making unforgettable memories in nature.
Duration: 4 hours or 8 hours
Based in one of the last truly wild areas of the UK, Morvern & Ardnamurchan. Half day tours are designed to fit with our Eagle trips that leave on the boat in the afternoons. Our basis for this is to see and photo otters while making our way through the territories of numerous bird of prey species. All of our road tours are private and it will be down to you what we try to find.
Vast swathes of the peninsulas are almost inaccessible and as such, the wildlife density is incredible. We will show you the very best of this stunning beautiful peninsula. Each experience is entirely created for you and we will focus on the wildlife you want to see, whether that is red throated divers to golden eagles or otters. This can be entirely car based with minimal walking or include climbs up smaller mountains and some trekking. It’s entirely down to you. We will teach you fieldcraft and photography, how to recognise tracks and signs, where to look, how to be close enough to get great shots and how to take great wildlife photos.
Species we typically see: White Tailed Sea Eagle, Golden Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Hen Harrier, Merlin, Short Eared Owl, Barn Owl, Great Norther Diver, Black Throated Diver, Red Throated Diver, Goldeneye, Wigeon, Lapwing, Curlew, Grey Heron, Greenshank, Redshank, Red Breaster Merganser, Osprey (Summer months), Pine Marten, Red Squirrel, Otter, Red deer, Fallow deer and many, many more!
This is a private trip and therefore, it is up to you what we focus on during the day.

Food and drink is not included, so please bring any hot or cold drinks you may need. We will finish at Lochaline Snack bar where you can buy lunch before heading out on the boat in the afternoon (bookable separately)
