About This Adventure

Join SPIT Kids for an unforgettable summer adventure on Homer Spit! Led by trained naturalists, children will explore marine life, search for seabirds, investigate the beach, and engage in ocean-themed crafts. This hands-on program meets three times a week, offering a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn.

AboutnWith our trained naturalists, kids will explore sea creatures under the dock, search for seabirds and marine mammals, investigate the beach, learn about plants, do ocean crafts, and more!nn---n## 2024 Rates and Schedulen$10 per child for each sessionnnSPIT Kids meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am-12pm during the summer season. nn---n## DurationnThis program meets three times a week during the summer season. Please register for one session a week or three sessions a week.nn---n## LocationnSPIT Kids is held on the Homer Spit. Pick-up and drop-off will be at the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies' Yurt on the Spit (behind Mako's Water Taxi and Coal Town Coffee).nn---n## Additional InformationnParticipants should come dressed appropriately for the weather.
