With 23 complete skeletons, and over 300 displays of individual fossils, the museum continues to grow and expand its collection and depth of information. Roam through our interactive dinosaur garden to get up close and personal with the dinosaurs including Canberra's famous Big Dinosaur, the larger than life Stan the T-Rex.

Our gift shop contains the largest range of prehistoric gifts in Canberra with something to suit all ages. The fossil, crystal and minerals shop is home to one of the largest collections in Australia and is a mini museum in its own right. There is no admission fee if you would only like to visit the museum gift shop and will not be entering the museum galleries
