Armand Bayou Nature Center in Pasadena, Texas preserves and interprets coastal bayou habitat while offering a wide range of guided outdoor experiences and hands-on education. The center leads guided kayak tours, pontoon and sunset cruises, electric vehicle Bayou Safari Tours, and family-friendly programs that showcase local wildlife and wetland ecology. Seasonal EcoCamp serves children ages 4 to 13 with themed days, live animal encounters, outdoor games, and hands-on science activities. EcoTeens and EcoAdventurers offer two-hour environmental science sessions for homeschooled students on Wednesdays, focusing on STEM exploration and nature careers. Marsh Monday invites volunteers and visitors to participate in marsh grass rescue, propagation, and restoration work; no prior experience is required and participants meet in the front parking lot at 8:30 am. Morning Bayou Cruise and Sunset Cruise provide 2.5-hour opportunities to view wildlife during breakfast and sunset hours. Pelicans & Pirates themed paddles and pontoon tours explore local history and wildlife connections. Bayou Safari Tours use electric vehicles and elevated boardwalks to view bison, the farm area, and scenic bayou stops.
