Join the keeper in the daily training session of our Cassowary ‘Gloria’. Daily training is a routine part of all the animals in our care, as this regular training conditions the animal to approach us for easy and stress free health assessment. Only two people each day will have the rare opportunity to get very close to the cassowary and observe her training in a special area usually accessed only by the keepers. You may also have the opportunity to hand feed Gloria. Every day is different so your experience will be unique according to how Gloria chooses to interact on the day.
You can take as many photos as you like on your own devices.
NOTE: Animal Interactions are an additional purchase upon Animal Park entry. Please ensure that Maru Entry tickets are purchased in addition to the Cassowary Experience.
