Welcome to the incredible Capybara Encounter, where guests have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of these charming and fascinating creatures. Nestled within a lush, natural habitat, this unforgettable experience offers a one-of-a-kind chance to interact with capybaras, the largest rodents in the world, renowned for their gentle demeanor and playful nature. Amongst the Capybara, you will also run into more furry friends on this guided tour. You will be given the chance to feed camels, meet lemurs, and say hello to a kangaroo! You'll see a few more non-encounter friends as well, and may even get to play with skunks!

As you enter the Capybara Encounter, you will be greeted by a knowledgeable guide who will provide you with fascinating insights about these remarkable animals. You'll learn about their natural habitat, behavior, and their crucial role in their ecosystem. The guide will also share intriguing anecdotes and fun facts, ensuring an educational and entertaining experience for visitors of all ages.

By booking your tour here at Rigden Ranch, you understand that you will be around, and handling exotic animals. Booking your tour is within your own risk, and you understand the risk of injury that animals can pose.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

If you are more than 15 minutes late your tour will be forfeited.

This tour is weather permitting, we will offer the opportunity to reschedule if raining, storming, or other events occur.

We only allow 6 people at a time on tour. If you show up with unexpected guests, your tour may be forfeited with no refund.

Please show up at the time slot you have booked, tour will not start early.

Closed toe shoes are recommended.

This is a ranch, and you will be meeting animals. Don't wear clothing that you wouldn't want to get dirty.

Guests with long hair are recommended to use a hair tie or hat to hold up their hair, being the capybara can chew hair. If you forget a hair tie, ask our tour guide for one, we keep them on hand.
