Learn about oysters and their importance in New York Harbor through some of Billion Oyster Project’s curricular activities and lessons.

We will cover topics such as:

  • Habitat
  • Filter feeding
  • Living Breakwaters
  • Billion Oyster Project curricular resources
  • And more!

This is an interactive workshop where teachers will work in small groups to actively participate in discussion and learning exercises. Educators will also have time to ask questions and get answers about oyster biology, history, and ecology in real time.
