Are you a "CSI junkie"? Then this is the program for you! In this exciting program, you will learn how then study of insects (entomology) helps investigators solve crimes! Join Entomologist and Plymouth County Extension Educator Blake Dinius for a fascinating talk about the role of forensic entomology in solving various crimes. Forensic entomologists are the scientists called upon to help in criminal investigations and use insects to help learn about various aspects of crime scenes.

From Blake: “Forensic entomology can be a little gruesome at times. There are some topics such as murder investigation, body decomposition, and neglect/abuse cases involved. It’s very interesting, but not well suited for young children.”
