About

If you really want to experience our unique and iconic Australian koala at its best then this experience is for you! Meeting some of our Koalas is a great way to get up close with one and learn from a keeper about the species, their threats, conservation status and how you can help. You will have the opportunity to get close to each of the koalas and can take as many photos as you like to capture this special moment. The keepers will educate you on each Koala by name and character as you move through each habitat. The koalas may even take some of their favourite leaf from your hand to eat. This truly is a very unique experience to be able to enjoy the koalas and observe how they interact with their environment. You will have exclusive access to our Koala Area throughout this experience, and also have bonus opportunities to interact with some of our wallabies throughout. Koalas sleep an average of 18-20 hours per day, so there is no guarantee that the koala will be awake for this interaction. It is important that you arrive early and be ready to start on time as this experience cannot be delayed and if you are late you will miss out on the experience and refunds will not be provided. This experience will run even if it is raining, so please dress accordingly. This experience has limited availability, so bookings are essential.

You can take as many photos as you like on your own devices.

NOTE: Animal Interactions are an additional purchase upon Animal Park entry. Please ensure that Maru Entry tickets are purchased in addition to the Koala Experience.

Other Information

Terms & Conditions It is important that you arrive early as the experience will not be delayed and will start at the advertised time.
