About
During the whale shark Season (May – September**), the whale sharks feed themselves with plankton in the water surroundings of Isla Mujeres. You have the opportunity to snorkel with these gentle giants.
The past ten years, Cancun became the best place to spot Whale Sharks. In a one hour boat ride from Cancun you are able to spot big groups of Whale Sharks. Snorkel with this biggest fish in the world is a once in a lifetime experience.
We offer a one-day Whale Shark Tour as well, but if you want to spend more time with these incredible fish than this trip is made for you. You have the chance to make a perfect picture from (and with) the Whale Sharks. You can even analyze if you´re the first one who spotted a particular Whale Shark. If you are, you are able to give this Whale Shark a name. In this 7 day tour, you will learn a lot about the Whale Shark, their behavior, and their environment. Thereby, you will also encounter other species living in this area, like Mobulas, Golden Cownose Rays, Manta Rays, and even Dolphins.
During this tour, you will leave to the water surroundings where the Whale Sharks live, for 4 days in a row. Really, this tour is so much more than a wildlife experience. This tour is a real once in a lifetime experience, which you will remember yourself for decades.
