Enjoy one of the premier black bear viewing spots in Whistler. Join one of our local professional nature guides and photographers, on your wilderness black bear Land Rover sunset off road excursion. Starting in April/May, black bears emerge from hibernation and begin to feed on the new spring growth. Take in the majestic high elevation panoramic views of the Coastal Mountain Range including; waterfalls, glacier lakes alpine old growth forest and wetlands. Watch the setting sun drench the back-country landscape in colour. Make certain to keep watch for the black bears, deer, bobcats and coyote’s that call the region home. This adventure will leave you appreciative of our natural world. Avid photographers will find this a prime opportunity to capture stunning images!
