World Within is located right on the Ogunquit River in the heart of the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge. This location is ideal for kayaking and paddling because of the proximity to the refuge. This refuge is loaded with wildlife, from small insects and birds, to deer and large moose. Most days you will see great blue heron, geese, deer, and ducks all without leaving your boat!
You may look at the beautiful sand dunes that are just on the paddle to the south, along with majestic sea side homes. If your paying attention, there are striped bass in the water and many small bait fish swimming away!! There are numerous species of birds nesting in the marsh along with the local fox and deer. It depends on what time of day you are out there as to what you may see.
