Seacoast Science Center, located in Rye, New Hampshire at Odiorne Point State Park, is a regional marine education facility focused on the Gulf of Maine and coastal ecosystems. The Center offers a mix of hands-on exhibits, aquariums, and touch tanks designed to introduce visitors of all ages to local marine life. Naturalist-led programs guide guests through tide pools, salt marshes, and rocky shore habitats to observe wildlife and learn responsible stewardship practices.
Programming includes family-focused events such as Big Fish Little Fish PLAY DAY for ages 0–5, seasonal Nature Programs exploring diverse habitats, and Music by the Sea — a summer concert series that combines live music with the Center’s outdoor setting. For on-water experiences, the Center partners with local organizations to present Wildlife Kayak Tours and SHEA Wildlife Kayak Tours that highlight estuary ecology and responsible wildlife viewing.
