For hundreds of years, the English and Scots fought against one and other, with kings fighting for land and dominance and the ordinary man fighting for survival and the hope that his land and family would be safer. On this tour we will collect you from Berwick upon Tweed and take you on a historic tour of the region, heading to Melrose and the Roman fort of Trimontium before working back along the Castles built along the Tweed, such as Norham, telling the history of this area and how the modern border was formed.
This tour is a whole day tour. Entry to all sites on the tour is included. Please provide us with information about where you would like to be collected.
