Join an exciting mushroom foray in Whistler's unique ecosystem! Led by an expert myco-guide, you'll learn to identify wild mushrooms like porcini and matsutake during a leisurely forest walk. Enjoy a delicious mushroom tasting and cooking discussion with Chef Robin, all while promoting ethical and sustainable practices.

This foray will focus on how to identify wild mushrooms specific to Whistlers ecosystem like porcini, matsutake, bears-head, hedgehog and more. Our ever-popular “Wild Edible Identification Trips” are easy forest walking trips with an expert myco-guide through the forest to identify whatever we find and they book up fast! This trip includes a mushroom tasting and discussion on how to cook different mushrooms with Chef Robin!
Note: this is not a harvesting trip, the class will study edible mushrooms in their habitat and discuss ethical and sustainable harvesting.
