Bruny Island is known for its excellent, locally produced food. On this tour we will visit the Bruny Island Cheese Co, Get Shucked (oysters), The Bruny Island Chocolate Factory, The Honey Pot, Bruny Island Premium Wines and the House of Whisky. We will climb the steps to Truganini Lookout and enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of the landscape (optional). If we are lucky, we may even spot famous white wallabies in Adventure Bay which are native to the island and one of the only places in Australia where you'll have a good chance of seeing one. This full day tour includes Ferry, Honey, Wine, Oysters & Cheese Samples. There will be a lunch stop at Bruny Island Premium Wines or Bruny Hotel but not included in tour cost.
The tour is small and intimate with a maximum of 6 guests. The tour is catered for adults only. Private driver and air-conditioned vehicle. Hotel pickup & drop off within 5km of Hobart CBD Taste a diverse range of food, wine & spirits. We have hand-picked and personally sampled each venue. Experience the amazing views & history this island has to offer. Includes Ferry, Honey, Wine, Oysters & Cheese Samples in cost of tour. Lunch costs are not included in tour cost.
Pickup from your Hotel or Accommodation within 5km of Hobart CBD (approx. 8.30am) We will drive 30 minutes to Kettering Marina where we will board the ferry for a 25 min ride. We will visit Bruny Island Cheese Company, Get Shucked Oyster Bar. Along the way will stop at Neck Game Reserve Lookout, climb the stairs (optional) to see some spectacular views. This tour wouldn't be complete without a stop at the Bruny Baker fridge. Lunch will be at Bruny Island Premium Wines or Bruny Hotel Before heading back, we will see if we can spot an elusive white wallaby. On our journey back to the ferry terminal we will stop in for some chocolate, honey & Whisky. Drop off at your hotel or accommodation within 5km of Hobart CBD (approx. 5.30pm)
