A full day of birding (6am-6pm) visiting the highlights of western Sydney. These can include Pitt Town lagoon (229), Bushell’s lagoon (220), Richmond Lowlands (202), Emu Green (181), Wianamatta Reserve (152), Castlereagh Nature Reserve (174) and Scheyville NP (180).

  • Birds include waders, egrets, cormorants, ducks, kits, eagles, fairywrens, honeyeaters, grass birds, parrots, thornbills and many more.

  • The numbers in brackets refer to the number of different species which have been recorded at each site.

  • Expect to identify approx 80 species.

  • Meet at a set location. Pick-ups on request.
