The Isle of Skye offers some of the most magical landscapes in Scotland and is a photographer’s paradise. The island features many unique features which include the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing on the Trotternish Ridge. The cascading waterfalls of the Fairy Pools and the dramatic coastal scenery of the Talisker Bay, Neist Point and Elgol offer stunning views which can also be enjoyed from dusk to dawn.

Day1 – Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Eilean Donan Castle, Hotel in Skye.

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive towards the stunning Trossach National Park where we will stop at the mighty falls of Falloch for that perfect picture opportunity. This is where we will cross over the ancient national fault line and travel into the highlands where the landscapes change dramatically. Capture some beautiful images of the Rannoch Moor, which is covered in heather, lochans and peatbogs. You will also enjoy stunning views of the Black Mount and the Buachaille Etive Mor. We then head through Scotland’s most famous valley, Glencoe. This is where we will enjoy taking stunning panoramas of this unique looking landscape. Feel history come alive when we tell the tales of the massacre of the Macdonald clan, which took place in 1692. This is where we will stop for our lunch stop at the award winning Clachaig Inn. We will then travel through the Great Glen eventually travelling west toward the stunning Eilean Donan Castle. This has to be Scotland’s most photographed castles which is heaped with history. Soon we will arrive at your accommodation in Skye with enough time to explore your surroundings and enjoy a traditional Scottish meal.

Day 2 - Kilt Rock, Trotternish Ridge, the Fairy Glen, Hotel in Skye.

We travel to the north of the island towards the Trotternish Ridge which is home to some of the most dramatic mountain formations in the World. Enjoy photographing the spectacular cliffs of the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and the beautiful mountain pass of the Quiraing. We will then return you to your accommodation in Skye.

Day 3 - Elgol, Fairy pools, Neist Point, Hotel in Skye.

After breakfast we will drive down to the small scattered hamlet of Elgol which lies on the shores of Loch Scavaig on the south coast of Isle of Skye. We can enjoy the views of the Cuillin Mountains and explore the beach area which offer many photographic opportunities. We will then travel towards the Fairy pools in Glen Brittle. The fairy Pools are a number of waterfalls which drain the Coire na Creiche in the Cuillin Massif. You will then travel to the most westerly point on the island and take in the spectacular views at Neist Point. Here you can look down towards the famous Neist Point lighthouse where you may also be able to see dolphins and whales swimming by in the sea below during sunset. We will then take you back to your accommodation in Skye.

Day 4 – Talisker Bay and return journey towards your accommodation of choice.
