About

Victoria, the capital city of our province, is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island about 100km south of Vancouver. Victoria has been named the most romantic city in Canada and one of the friendliest cities in the world. We will embark, by bicycle, on the Tsawwassen ferry for the 1 hour and 40 minutes crossing into Swartz Bay. The ferry ride is a memorable experience, navigating through the Georgia Straight and the Gulf Islands. Upon our arrival, we will begin cycling along the Lochside trail. The ride is 30km each way, traveling past beaches, farmlands, wetlands, and down country lanes right into downtown Victoria. Victoria has many lovely, quaint shops as well as incredible food options. We will explore Victoria allowing for time to grab a bite to eat before we ride back to the ferry.
