Full Day

Includes

  • A full day with your private, expert naturalist guide
  • Transportation in our touring vehicle
  • High-powered, high-quality binoculars and spotting scopes
  • Hot beverages (coffee, tea, hot cocoa)
  • Light snacks
  • An engaging, educational experience in Yellowstone – all of our guides are local experts who are trained educators and naturalists

What to bring

  • Layered clothing. Even in the summer, morning temperatures can be quite cold (as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit), while afternoon highs can reach the 80s or higher. Layered clothing that can keep you warm while standing still in the pre-dawn air and cool when temperatures warm up later in the day is a must. We recommend: warm hat, gloves, t-shirt, long-sleeve shirt, sweater or warm jacket, waterproof/windproof outer jacket, long pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots, sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray (especially in June-July).
  • Food. We provide hot beverages and light snacks. Please bring your lunch; if you are interested in including a short hike on your tour, consider packing a picnic-style lunch that can be enjoyed on the trail.
  • Reusable water bottle. Your guide will have a large cooler of water from which you can refill your bottle.
  • Camera (if desired).
  • Small backpack to carry water and snacks while away from the vehicle for short periods of time.
  • Your park pass
  • Age-appropriate child car seats or booster seats for any children in your party.
  • Lots of questions, enthusiasm, and curiosity!
  • Gratuity is not included in the price of your tour. If you would like to recognize your guide for great service, gratuity at your discretion is permitted and appreciated.
