About This Adventure

Experience the beauty of nature with our Wildflower Walks every October! Each week, explore a new location and discover vibrant wildflowers in bloom. From the unique carnivorous plants at Brooker Creek to stunning trails at various preserves, these guided strolls promise unforgettable moments in the great outdoors. Reservations required.

Join us each week in October for our Wildflower Walks. Each week we will meet at a different location and survey what wildflowers are in bloom! $5 youth $10 adults $30 families up to 5 persons – Online reservations required.

We will be meeting on location for these events:

Oct 7th is our 1st Wildflower Walk – Meet us at the Upper Hillsborough Preserve trailhead on Chancy near the Zephyrhills Airport at 9 am Reservations required https://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation/upper-hillsborough-preserve

Oct 14th is our 2nd Wildflower Walk – Meet us at Chinsegut Conservation Center Lower Trailhead at Hwy 41 &581 near Brooksville at 9 am Reservations required https://myfwc.com/education/outdoor-skills/chinsegut/

Oct 21st is our 3rd Wildflower Walk – Meet us at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland on Winter Lake Road in Nature Center Parking Lot at 9 am Reservations required https://www.polknature.com/explore/circle-b-bar-reserve

Oct 28th is our 4th Wildflower Walk at Brooker Creek Headwaters Preserve near Keystone/Lutz. At this location, we can see carnivorous plants such as hooded pitcher plants and pink sundew, as well as the beautiful Pine Lily.
