This forest foray will focus on how to identify wild mushrooms like porcini, chanterelle, honey, wild oysters and more. Our ever-popular “Wild Edible Identification Trips” are easy forest walking trips with an expert myco-guide through BC’s forest to identify whatever we find and they book up fast!
Note: this is not a live cooking class or a harvesting trip, the class will study edible mushrooms in their habitat and discuss ethical and sustainable harvesting.
The forest floor can be uneven and damp, so shoes with good traction are essential.
Taking notes will help you remember key identification tips from the guide.
