About This Adventure

Imagine steep mountains, green water, wildlife, and waterfalls!

Duration

8 Hours

About

This trip differs from the others, in that we get a chance to go beyond the popular Desolation Sound, to experience a little more remote, a little more stunning, and a little bit wilder. Traveling up Homfray Channel, into Toba Inlet (as the winds and weather allow), and completing a full circumnavigation of East Redonda Island, we get a sense of the magnitude of this coastline, the depth of the history here, and leaves us wishing we could just keep exploring.

Minimum # of Guests Policy:

3.5 hour tours have a minimum number of 3 guests and 6 & 8 hour tours have a minimum number of 4 guests required to run the tour. If your tour fails to reach its required minimum, your tour may be changed to a Private Tour, a shorter time frame OR moved to a different day. Our office will communicate with you if changes are required.

Adventure Tips

Mind the Weather on the Water

Winds and waves in the channels can change quickly; dress in waterproof layers and bring wind protection to stay comfortable.

Bring Binoculars for Wildlife Viewing

Schedule Flexibility is Key

Trip routes may vary depending on weather and guest count; keep plans flexible to get the safest and most rewarding experience.

Pack Food and Water

Though the trip lasts 8 hours, onboard food options are limited—bring snacks and sufficient water to stay energized.
