The Wild & Scenic Loxahatchee River tour explores one of only two designated "Wild & Scenic" rivers in Florida. For approximately two hours, meander your way downstream from Riverbend Park toward the Atlantic Ocean. You’ll pass through an incredible Cypress swamp and see many plant and animal species. Much of the tour will take place under a beautifully shaded hardwood Cypress canopy that remains unspoiled and transports you back in time. Currents and water levels vary with the seasons. Portage may be necessary. Please review conditions and specific tour details with staff.
