Morning light strips across chalky sandstone as the Jeep grinds away from Taba toward White Canyon. You step out where the desert tightens into a ribbon of pale sand and smooth walls; the canyon seems to breathe, pushing you along a narrow, winding floor until it opens to plateaus and then narrows again into the oasis at Ain Khudra.
moderate.
8 hours.
Able to walk on uneven, sandy and rocky ground for multiple short segments, including narrow canyon passages.
Walks are generally short (30–60 minutes at stops) over sandy and rocky terrain; rated moderate—suitable for most reasonably fit travelers.
Yes — pick up from Taba hotels and return is included in the tour package.
A buffet lunch and Bedouin tea are included; bring snacks if you have specific dietary needs.
The tour is suitable for a wide range of ages, but not recommended for those with serious mobility or cardiovascular issues due to uneven terrain and heat.
Sinai canyons preserve sedimentary layers from ancient seabeds; the area has long been traversed by Bedouin routes linking coastal and inland communities.
The fragile sandstone and oasis vegetation are sensitive to trampling; stick to established paths, pack out trash, and avoid removing stones or plants.
