About This Adventure

Experience the unique "Silent Season" at Bladnoch Distillery, where you can explore the historic site without production distractions. Enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes access, taste two exceptional whiskies, and savor a sample of the latest release. This intimate tour, limited to small groups, promises a memorable journey into whisky craftsmanship.

SILENT SEASON Please note: The distillery will be in Silent Season with no production between July 15 – August 25, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes access, plus an extra dram of Wave II, our latest release at the end of the tour.

Visitors must be 18 years and over to consume alcohol or be offered a sample (ID may be required).

Touring visitors must be aged 12 years and over. Those under 12 are welcome to stay in the Visitor Centre and Cafe if accompanied by an adult

Driving? We've got you covered. You can take away the sample tastings to gift or have later.

Discover how Bladnoch and Pure Scot whisky is crafted first-hand with a tour through the key sites of the 207-year-old distillery. Tour includes a tasting of two of our favourite releases and a sample of the new make Bladnoch spirit at the conclusion.

  • Small Groups: 10 people maximum.
  • Opening Hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 10am - 5pm

SILENT SEASON The distillery will not be in production for two periods throughout the year, 3 weeks in July/August, and 2 weeks in December/January. During this time all tours operate as normal, and you will be able to see every part of the distillery. Tours during this time are marked 'Silent Season'.

Our "Silent Season" this year will commence on Tuesday 16th July 2023 until 5th of August

Please note, the distillery tours are not suitable for wheelchair users, those using walking sticks or walking aids, due to the nature of some of our buildings. Make sure to wear comfortable and appropriate footwear - high heels are not permitted on tours due to health and safety regulations

The majority of the walkways are open-grid floors which may not be suitable for anyone with a fear of heights.
