Get ready for a spirited adventure! Learn about the rich, rebellious history of whiskey and its role in shaping America while enjoying a taste of our signature moonshine. We will walk you through the science and skill behind mashing, fermentation, and pot distillation, and give a behind-the-scenes look at how Kings County Distillery became NYC’s oldest distillery since Prohibition. Next, step into our barrel room and breathe in the angel’s share as you uncover how oak transforms clear spirit into rich, flavorful whiskey. Wrap it all up with a guided tasting featuring four of our signature whiskeys, including one of our harder-to-find gems. Duration is approximately 75 minutes.

• You must be age 21+ with proper ID to enjoy whiskey. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

• At this time children are not permitted on the tour, unless they are young enough to be worn by a parent/guardian in an infant carrier.

-Guests will meet at our bar at The Gatehouses at 299 Sands St, located right on the intersection of Sands St, and Navy St.

• The Gatehouses, and Paymaster building at Kings County Distillery are historic structures that are not wheelchair accessible.

• Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your tour starts. Tours will start no later than 5 minutes after the listed time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late your spot will be forfeited to someone on our waitlist with no option to reschedule or be refunded.

• This tour requires going up and down stairs as well as long periods of standing.
