WhirlyBall Novi Group Rental: 6-Hour Private Courts for 40–80 People

6 Hour Whirlyball Experience • Groups 40 - 80 People is a private-court, high-energy group game located in Novi, Michigan. This booking puts you inside two dedicated WhirlyBall courts with attached private rooms that seat up to forty people each, making it an unusual option for large corporate outings, bachelor parties, and family reunions in suburban Detroit. The attraction’s core thrill is simple: players drive low-speed, joystick-controlled whirly carts—bumper-car chassis fitted with scoops—while passing and shooting a small ball across a marked court. That hybrid of bumping, passing, and goal-scoring blends elements of bumper cars, basketball, and lacrosse into something loud, fast, and goofy in the best way. Because the experience is billed as a six-hour rental, groups can rotate through games, rest in a private lounge, and run a tournament format that keeps everyone engaged. The operator provides exclusive use of the private room for the duration of your rental; the structured description recommends roughly one hour of play for every 10–15 participants. Note the safety threshold: all players must be at least 54 inches tall. The company warns that Whirlyball is "play at your own risk" and advises people with heart conditions, back or neck problems, pacemakers, or pregnancy to avoid participation. What makes this Novi location stand out in Metro Detroit’s recreation scene is the scale and privacy. Two courts plus adjacent rooms allow simultaneous divisions, spectator seating, and catered breaks without shuttling people between venues. For event planners seeking an activity that combines physical play with social downtime, the rhythm of short, intense rounds keeps energy high and conversation flowing. It’s equally effective for competitive teams and groups looking for a straightforward, guaranteed-activity day away from the usual bowling or escape rooms. Practical notes: reservations are required and scheduled by appointment; call the operator for custom quotes if you want the lounge or staggered starts. Bring closed-toe shoes, a sense of humor, and plan for roughly one staff-monitored session per 10–15 players. Expect noise, quick reflexes, and a lot of cheering. In Novi—an entertainment-rich suburb of Detroit—this WhirlyBall experience offers a rare chance to rent large, private indoor courts that turn a simple group outing into a full-day event. Although the event page carries an "All Ages" headline, the operator enforces a 54-inch height minimum to participate; that makes the experience best suited to teens and adults. Because the lounge is private for your rental period, groups often bring catered trays or order delivery for halftime. Book early for evening weekend slots and expect staff to advise game rotations—organizers commonly split groups into brackets with short, timed matches so everyone gets play safely. It’s a loud, memorable way to run a single-venue event in Novi.
