Enjoy a tranquil wine tasting experience amidst the lush garden setting at Whicher Ridge Wines. Perfect for relaxing afternoons, this unique outdoor event combines nature, wine, and serenity.
Whicher Ridge Wines is a Chapman Hill, Western Australia winery focused on small-batch production, cellar-door tastings and seasonal garden events. The property offers two curated experiences: the Soirée in the Garden and Tasting with the Winemaker. Both experiences take place at the onsite cellar door and sensory garden, providing visitors with relaxed settings to sample wines and learn about production.
The Soirée in the Garden runs on late afternoons from late spring through mid-autumn. Guests receive three glasses of chosen wine while enjoying a tranquil sensory garden where picnics are welcome. The experience is designed for those seeking a leisurely tasting after regional sightseeing and emphasizes the garden setting as a place to unwind and savor wines.
Tasting with the Winemaker is held in the cellar door and focuses on small-batch techniques. Visitors participate in a guided tasting of five wines, including selections from the Odyssey Garden range and Single Vineyard offerings. The tasting is presented by the winemaker or cellar team and is arranged for intimate groups at the bar or communal table.
Whicher Ridge Wines operates from Chapman Hill and provides direct cellar-door access to its wines, making it easy for visitors to sample current releases and purchase bottles onsite. The business communicates available experiences and seasonal scheduling clearly, allowing guests to plan visits during the garden season or book the winemaker tasting for a more in-depth exploration of varietals and terroir. Bookings are available directly through the cellar door and via the winery's official contact channels online.
