Adventure Tips

Bring binoculars for close-up views

Even though whales come near the boat, binoculars enhance your ability to spot behaviors farther away on the horizon.

Apply reef-safe sunscreen

Protect your skin and Hawaii's marine environment by using eco-friendly sunscreen designed not to harm coral reefs.

Wear layers for changing weather

Morning ocean breezes can be cool; bring a light jacket or cover-up to stay comfortable during the sail.

Stay seated during whale sightings

For safety and to avoid disturbing the whales, follow crew instructions about movement on the vessel, especially when whales approach.
