About

Departing from historic St. Andrews by-the-Sea, New Brunswick, Canada our Bay of Fundy whale and wildlife cruises provide the opportunity to experience whales and so much more!

Come cruise the Fundy Isles and experience her rugged seascapes, abundant lighthouses, and powerful tides. Observe whales, seals, porpoise, bald eagles, and a variety of seabirds from the decks of our spacious modern power catamaran. Get up close and personal with a variety of undersea life with our onboard touch tank.

Using modern passenger vessel design and sufficient cruise duration, our family business delivers environmentally conscience expeditions designed with the opportunity to see, learn, and experience more! With our first class educational interpretation and limited passenger capacity, we ensure an experience like no other.

Be Whale Wise. On the Bay its not who you know – it's where you go! Range (cruise duration x speed) is key! There are no guarantees when it comes to whale watching, but you can put the odds in your favour by choosing a cruise that can spend more time in whale feeding areas and less time in transit. A boat that goes 10 mph, can go 30 miles in 3 hours. A boat that can go 20 mph can go 60 miles in 3 hours. Those 30 extra miles can mean the difference between whales and no whales or the type of whales you experience.

Things to Remember

  • Warm clothing: Dress in layers, no matter how warm it is in port you can be assured of a significant temperature drop on the open Bay. Please believe us, nothing can ruin an excursion more than lack of personal comfort.
  • Camera, spare media card, and battery charging cables. We provide 120V outlets for charging.
  • A light lunch or snack
  • Sunscreen

A special reminder from the owners and crew: We love to connect people with the natural environment of the Bay of Fundy. Our ideal guest is someone who appreciates the wild for what it is – unpredictable. When you choose to engage in watching whales and wildlife in their natural environment it comes with the risk of inconsistency. If you are not willing to take that risk, then this activity may not be for you. Please ensure your expectations are realistic (be careful of the marketing claims). We regularly post accurate and up to date sightings to allow our clients to understand what we are seeing and where. In return, we will make the effort to go further and spend more time – because that’s the only way we can honestly provide responsible and consistent whale and wildlife sightings.

Adventure Tips

Dress in Layers

Temperatures drop quickly out on the Bay, so bring warm, windproof clothing even in summer.

Bring Binoculars

A good pair of binoculars enhances wildlife viewing beyond what’s easily visible from the deck.

Charge Your Camera Gear

Bring extra memory cards and batteries; there are outlets onboard for charging during the trip.

Plan for Seasickness

The Bay can be choppy; if you’re prone to motion sickness, consider medication before boarding.
