About This Adventure

Watch out for whales, puffins, and icebergs!

Duration

2.5 hours

About

We most commonly sight Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, and Minke Whales on our trips. Other sightings include: icebergs, puffins, seals, porpoises, sharks and a variety of sea birds. As our climate changes we are sighting more and more icebergs off the coast of Newfoundland. 90% of icebergs seen off Newfoundland and Labrador come from the glaciers of western Greenland. The rest come from glaciers on islands in Canada's Arctic area. Did you know that Bonavista is rated as one of the best places in Newfoundland to view Icebergs. Be sure to call ahead to see if there are any recent sightings.

Your safety is very important "to us with every person being" provided with a full body flotation suit which will also provide "comfort and warmth" during your excursion.
