About

Meet captain Winston aboard our Motor Vessel the Athena Rose for a truly Alaskan experience on the water. You'll set out to explore the islands around Auke Bay north of Juneau, Alaska, surrounded by pristine mountain views. Keep an eye out for an abundance of wildlife found in these waters - eagles soaring, humpbacks breaching or seals and sea lions playing! Circle the islands, learning about the lighthouses and stunning landscape you see. Top off the trip with a beach landing on an island to comb for treasure, take in the scenery or enjoy a snack!


What to Bring

  • Warm layered clothing, rain jacket, sunglasses, a hat and gloves. For shore landings wear comfortable waterproof boots and footwear.
  • Personal camera and video devices.
  • Water bottle and extra snacks. Guests are welcome to bring any food or beverages that they would like onboard.
