2.5 hours
Did you know there are more than 20 whale and dolphin species visiting the Madeira sea?
And did you know that if you go Whale and Dolphin Watching with us, you can even swim with dolphins?
Sounds sweet, doesn’t it?
Our whale and Dolphin Watching program starts with a short briefing at our headquarters. There, our marine biologist will let you know what the trip will consist of and what cetacean species we’re planning to see on that particular day.
Then we head to the Marina, where the adventure truly begins!
To guarantee you see cetaceans, we have a team of observers on shore searching the sea to find where the best observation spots are at any given time. Then, they send us the coordinates directly to the boat, so we don’t have to wonder about it.
Also, to give you the best experience possible at the sea, our marine biologist will be there throughout the entire journey, making sure you have all the information and context during our trip.
*Swimming with Dolphins Optional
If you wish – and if they’re in the mood for company – it is also possible to swim among the dolphins.
Included: Marine Biologist on board
