Our guests say it best!

***"Would highly recommend this! The boat was beautiful, Capt Doug and the crew Ian, Caden and SeaAnna were so much fun and so helpful! We had a great time!"

***"This is my third time in three years. I live in Hawai’i and still enjoy this tour. I have visited many places in the world and have done snorkel trips, but this location and Hawaii Nautical always passes well above my expectations. We have many friends and family visitors who come to Hawai’i to visit my husband how is from the mainland. "

***"This is an awesome activity to do with the whole family! We took our one year old daughter and our parents and everyone had the best morning! We saw two different large pods of dolphins and many sea life during the snorkel! The crew was fantastic, very attentive, friendly and professional! Thanks Jesse, seanna and Quinn for the best morning on west Oahu!! There was also good food and tasty drinks! Highly recommend!"

About us

Hawaii Nautical is one of Hawaii's largest ocean-activity providers, with a fleet of vessels islandwide serving many harbors across Oahu and the Big Island. We believe in delivering service, safety, and the spirit of Aloha.

We respect the ocean and the ecosystem, and follow strict guidelines so that all marine mammals and wildlife are protected. And we honor the host-culture and support the local communities in which we operate.

A portion of proceeds from your trip with Hawaii Nautical helps many worthy causes, including:

HAWAII NAUTICAL MARINE LIFE FOUNDATION We want the natural environment you enjoy today to be here tomorrow, and for every tomorrow after. That’s why we are Hawaii’s first Dolphin Smart-recognized operator. NOAA’s Dolphin Smart educates guests about dolphin conservation and harassment and advises not to seek activities that pursue close interactions like swimming with dolphins in Hawaii in the wild.

We also follow the guidelines of the Coral Reef Alliance, to establish lasting change and promote coral reef health around the world. That includes sustainable practices — such as no fish-feeding. Coral conservation aims to save these valuable ecosystems, unite communities and preserve cultural identity.

E ALA — “THE AWAKENING” This authentic Hawaiian voyaging canoe is making its return to Waianae Harbor as a floating classroom to promote Hawaiian culture for area students and residents. Students learn Hawaiian wayfinding, an ancient Polynesian method of navigation where a captain reads the positions and paths of stars, the sun, clouds, winds, ocean swells and the flights of land-based birds, to find his or her way across the ocean. E Ala was built inspired by the historic voyages of the Hokule’a. E Ala also teaches canoe maintenance and sailing.

E Ala is a project of the Wai’anae Hawaiian Civic Club, which sponsors Native Hawaiian projects and provides student grants.
