The bus eases out of the Park & Ride and the city gives way to low rolling hills and rivers that dare you to look away. Over five hours you hop between intimate tasting rooms and riverfront patios — vineyards where leaves rustle above rows of grapes and breweries where the tap list shifts like seasonal weather. Conversation moves as easily as a tasting flight; the ride stitches stops together so you can focus on sips, not directions.
easy.
5 hours.
Minimal fitness required—short walks and standing while tasting; suitable for most adults
Yes—sealed cans or plastic to-go cups are allowed, but glass containers are not permitted on the bus.
No—transportation is included but tastings and any purchases at wineries or breweries are paid on-site.
The tour is open to all ages, but because it focuses on alcohol tastings it’s best for adults; infants can sit on laps but must be supervised.
All sales are final; there are no refunds, and the operator may cancel if minimum traveler numbers aren’t met.
West Michigan’s beverage scene grew from agricultural roots and a 20th-century revival—St. Julian is one of the state’s long-standing wineries and craft breweries expanded as farm-to-glass ingredients became available locally.
Operators encourage responsible drinking and packaging rules (no glass on buses); support producers by buying local and returning to tasting rooms rather than leaving waste behind.
Magic Shuttle Bus GR operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
