You step off the shuttle with cool air at your back and a sweep of grapevines sloping toward Okanagan Lake. The afternoon light makes the rows look like green ribs on the hillside; the guide greets you, and the first glass is already waiting. Over the next four hours you move between family-run cellars and organic plots, sampling four to five wines at each stop and watching how slope, soil and lake-weather shape flavor.
